“Texas Medicaid is reviewing 368 proposals for regional behavioral health initiatives to be funded through the state’s Medicaid Transformation Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program. Of those, 297 proposals were submitted by 38 community mental health centers and an additional 71 proposals were submitted for behavioral health projects. The DSRIP is funded by the state’s 1115 Medicaid demonstration waiver, and the projects are intended to improve outcome and access to care for Medicaid beneficiaries or uninsured individuals with serious mental illness…
